Wrap them well (e.g., bubble wrap), place in a padded envelope or box, include your order form or online order receipt (or your name, phone and return address), and post to: Anglia Clipper Services, Unit 7 Patches Yard, Glemsford, Sudbury, CO10 7PZ. Using a registered postal service is recommended.

Q: How many times can my scissors be sharpened?

It depends on the condition and how much steel must be removed to restore a quality cutting edge. If your scissors can’t be sharpened, you won’t be charged.

Q: How long will it take?

Blades are typically sharpened the day they arrive and dispatched the next working day.

Q: Do you offer mobile scissor sharpening?

No—mobile sharpening isn’t offered. To ensure consistent, high-quality results, sharpening is performed in the workshop with a fast postal turnaround.

We sharpen 8,000+ scissors and 28,000 clipper blades every year with a fast 2-working-day sharpen-and-return. We’re the UK sharpening and service centre recommended by Christies-Direct, Simpsons-Online, Technogroom & Petcetera. Choose from two levels of sharpening from our on-site workshop for the finish you need.

We are able to offer two levels of sharpening from our onsite workshop.

We also stock most rubber stops and pivot screws and can order in more specialist parts if needed to get your scissors back in tip top condition.

How to send us your scissors for sharpening

Option 1: Pay online (fastest)

Order Standard Scissor Sharpening or High-Class Scissor Sharpening online.
Print your order confirmation and pop it in the parcel.

Option 2: Print our order form

Download and print the order form.
Fill in your details and which service you require.
Include the completed form in your parcel.

Option 3: Add a handwritten note

Write your full name, phone number, and return address on a note.
Tell us which service you want (standard or high-class) if you know it.
We’ll contact you to take payment before we begin.

How do I send you my scissors?

Wrap the items up well in something to protect them, like bubble wrap.
Put them in a padded envelope or cardboard box.
Then either: complete the order form and include with your parcel, or pay online and print the order receipt and include in your parcel, or write your name, address and phone number in the parcel (and we'll contact you once its been sharpened for payment).

How many times can my scissors be sharpened?

There is no definitive answer, it all depends on how much we must sharpen to get a quality cutting edge.

Don’t worry, if we can’t sharpen your scissor blades we’ll let you know and will not charge you.

How long will it take?

We aim to sharpen your blade the day they arrive, and on their way back the following day.

Do you offer mobile scissor sharpening?

No, we don't offer mobile sharpening. We don’t believe you should settle for substandard sharpening and we know we couldn’t get the same results operating from a mobile setting. That’s why we offer a quick turn around on blade sharpening through our postal service to allow you to get a quality sharpen quickly.
